Subj: Rereading "older" material--a bit of a vent

So my closet is becoming quite full, and I have decided to take it upon myself to reread things and sell what I'm not into. So far its a nice trip down memory lane, but any book that I have read from 1990-1993 was pretty bad. The nineties as a whole weren't terrible, just those four years.

Case in point....Morbius. I get the fact that they tried to make the character darker, it was the 90's, it was practically mandatory. They want to make him more vampiric, that's fine with me too. The book as a whole was so blatantly bad though, constant crossovers, shoddy writing. At least they tried to build up his Rogues Gallery a little. Anybody remember Basilisk, Vic Slaughter, the Wraith, or Bloodthirst though? So as you can tell, these issues will eventually be sold.

On a lighter note, there is the Nova series by Erik Larsen. If anything, the book is a breath of fresh air in the current influx of dark and despair in the present Marvel Comics Universe. Him wanting to build a Rogues Gallery of his own, his thunder stolen from more famous heroes, very fun stuff. Nothing to write home about, but easy reading none the less. As a sidenote: Eddie Brock was revealed to have a sister in that series, she ever appear anywhere else?

Still have several series to get through, was thinking of taking on Mark Waids Cap or Ka-Zar, or if i dare Silver Sable.
