Incredible to be getting enjoyment (again) from a gratuitously graphic zombie story of all things over many a other issues this week. Despite the art/story there was decent pacing, continuity nods, surprise gueststars, significant developments, notable deaths, impressionable action, Little Sky, big battle, unlikely teamups, killer cliffhanger, plus of course the humor&horror. Ingredients for a great issue. Even the prerequisite pointless variant cover.

Echo most of these sound bytes for this issue:

Poor Ted. Poor Taino.

And dont know who Theodore Sturgeon or George Romero or if theyre being considered but, it seems Jennifer Kale is out of the running for the Sorcerer Supreme mantle up for bids now... bcup bloodstained brassieres dont make good resumes.

Despite how enjoyable this issue was this update

is still... unwanted. Cant they just let the zombies die? ...oh... right... 'Zombies'.
