I just wanted to let everyone know that the latest issue of my fanzine DITKOMANIA was released last week. The theme of this issue (#79) is "Ditko's Women," with articles on Betty Brant, Gwen Stacy, the Charlton heroine Liberty Belle, Fera (of Ditko's Static series), and the women of Ditko's new comic "Act 3." Also featured is an article about Squirrel Girl from her creator Will Murray, who reveals that the character had been based on an actual person. And her squirrel, Monkey Joe, was based on a real squirrel! Who'da thunk it?
