Shogun Warriors? Godzilla? (Yes for me.) GI-Joe? (Yes for me.) Transformers? Micronauts? (Yes for me.) Any others? I don't think I ever saw the Shogun Warriors comic back in the day. I think I would have bought it. Godzilla worked much better as a comic than I ever would have expected. Herb Trimpe was well suited to the art chores. I also loved the Godzilla cartoon (not affiliated with Marvel). Marvel's GI-Joe comic had Larry Hama at the helm and he did a great job. Herb Trimpe on art was no slouch either (to say the least). Marvel's Micronauts had Michael Golden's beautiful art and what I consider to be Bill Mantlo's best writing.

Quote: Micronauts? (Yes for me.)I like how Micronauts ended up (as Marvel properties) and wish they were used more often, whatever they want to call them-- Microns, Enigma Force, whatever. Otherwise, only ROM. I tend not to be a fan of licensed properties... even Conan and Sonja. At least not Marvel's use of them. City of Heroes is BACK!

Indeed, Conan with the Avengers?? Marvel has written themselves into a future problem, as when the license runs out, if they don't renew it then they lose the rights to Conan and cannot reprint any issues of any book he appeared in. Just like any issue of any comic ROM appeared in like Power Man/Iron Fist, Fantastic Four, The Incredible Hulk, or even the ROM series itself.

I don't even like it when Marvel interacts with DC, let alone things that really don't fit. I tend to agree with you on that, although I enjoyed the What If story where Conan met Captain America. As for any in-continuity story where Conan interacts with 616, I treat it as a What If, even if it wasn't, because I know it will never be referenced in any Hyborian Age comic (not even Marvel's). Conan will never reminisce with Red Sonja about his adventures with Wolverine.

Suddenly I'm wondering if Conan could appear in a Marvel film, as part of the multiverse story line. Killraven could also, I suddenly realize.

Well, Killraven is a full-owned property of Marvel. I'd love to see a Killraven movie, btw. City of Heroes is BACK!

Godzilla (the MU version) did survive for a little while after his series ended. Dr. Demonicus mutated him into an unregonizable form in Iron Man. Characters from that series that Marvel created and owns, like Demonicus, Red Ronin, and Yetrigar (the giant bigfoot) haven't been used for a while. I would love to see Yetrigar fight the Hulk.
