Sin Eater was saved by what remains of his cult, they show him the Spiders on a rampage in NYC on their smartphones. Norah Winters is on the scene, convinced they're impersonators.

Doctor Strange arrives at Felicia's apartment to reclaim the Hand of Vishanti, but discovers it's a fake. Felicia offers to give him the real one back if he allows her to help him save Spidey

Meanwhile, Mary Jane is on her way through the city in a limo, she reveals in her inner thoughts she came up with a detour to New York during her publicity tour so she could come clean to Peter about her film project being directed by Mysterio. She reads of Ravencroft incident and worries. The limo is suddenly attacked as the Order of the Web, possessed by Kindred, continue their attack. MJ is rescued by Noman Osborn.

Sin Eater decides to continue his mission even if he is unsupported by Kindred. Realising what he's up against, he decides he will cleanse and absorb the abilities of someone who can draw life energy from Spiders....the inheritor Morlun

My thoughts

This issue brings characters closer together, all the existing players of this event begin to unify and set off on their own side-missions. Felicia is with Doctor Strange to save Spidey, MJ is recruited by Osborn to save Harry. A most...interesting relationship dynamic and ones I hope will lead to even more fun in the next batch of .LR themed issues.

A cleansed Norman interacting with MJ ought to be a great read, and I love that he finally atones for all his years of mucking about on the bridges by saving one of Peter's greatest loves from one in dissarray.

Nice to see the more traditional New Warriors make a cameo after all the bad publicity from the unveiling of their modern counterparts (who have yet to see publication as of this writing) , I noticed some people got excited for their inclusion because Kaine and Ben were formerly members...not so much here though.

And perhaps we're getting some semblance of a reason why they're excluded, with Morlun's return you can bet some Spiders will pay a hefty price. My safe money is on Julia finally copping it.
