Martin Li tells May that his sins were recently returned to him, and that he is trying to keep the Negative side of him dormant, but his men are already circling the building ready to attack.
Peter goes to Liz, she tells him Harry is out of town and is in Paris, but Peter knows the truth, he tells her that Harry has had a 'relapse', Liz breaks down in tears. Normie shows up and reveals to his mother Harry has been storing his old Green Goblin gear in the house. (referencing Venom: The Good Son)
Norman arrives to tell Peter that he overheard Kingpin talking with Kindred, and that Fisk has arranged an attack on F.E.A.S.T. Peter switches to Spider-Man and arrives just as Negative's forces are tearing up the place.
Back to Fisk, and he reveals where he first met Kindred...in the catacombs of Paris when Fisk himself was in exile at one point, he begged Kindred for something but Kindred denied it to him. One of Li's demons arrives and says Mr. Negative knows Fisk's greatest desire, but he will need to acquire more than just the tablet of life and destiny.
Amazing Spider-Man#58 was the usual load of "fresh questions, no answers" that Spencer has been riding high on lately.
I mean...for heaven's sake, they don't even bring what happened to Carlie up whatsoever, Mary Jane isn't in the issue...but we finally do get a reaction from Liz and Normie...but they don't have a full comprehension of Harry's power, they just think he's become the Goblin again.
Meantime, we get a revelation that Fisk first met Harry/Kindred when he was in exile, and that Kindred previously dwelled in the catacombs of Paris...so it looks as if Harry being in Europe still happened, but does that mean he became Kindred while IN Paris?Nothing's answered there
So after all that hyperbole...the only "era" that ended was Harry's cushy family life he's built for himself in the the last ten years and this event has reset his family firmly back to how they were in the 1990s. Bravo Spencer!
