Subj: Non-Stop #2

So, any thoughts on Non-Stop #2? I felt like there was quite a bit of "more of the same". Spider-Man spent about half the issue (maybe a little less?) punching the same nameless, faceless crew from last issue. I still had to go through the issue 3 times, and REALLY linger over each panel that third time, to make sure I understood what was happening.
We did get some plot advancement this issue. Spider-Man's current theory is that this "A Plus" drug steals brain power from those who take the drug, and send it somewhere else. We did get the Zapata Brothers, whose monster truck was fun, but driving it into the sewer was a bit of a strain on my suspension of disbelief. Zemo is also moving from back-up story to interacting with the crew Spider-Man has been punching for an issue and a half, although we don't know any more about what he's doing.
They made it a point to let us know that it was mostly smart minorities who were targeted by this drug. Maybe the story will justify this wrinkle, maybe not. Right, now, it feels like another "socially relevant" moment for us, and I feel like I'm getting enough of those already. We'll see how it plays out in the story as a whole though.
