Kingpin listens in to Norman's conversations with Kindred and meets with Baron Mordo, keen to utilise his services. Peter and Fred battle Hammerhead's mob but are swiftly interrupted by The Owl and his men, who proceed to fight with Hammerhead for the opportunity to take out Boomerang and lay claim to Fisk's reward.

Peter's livestream capabilities enable the public to see a lot of what's going on, and as a result, some of Fisks's approval ratings are beginning to drop. Jameson arranges an A.M.A for Spidey, Spidey asks if Jameson knows what one of those even are, and Jameson replies 'no', but he's sure Robbie Robertson will hate it.

Meantime, Robbie confronts Randy over his relationship with Janice, likewise with Tombstone and his daughter. Both go to their friends for relationship advice. Peter and Janice's girlfriends all suggest Randy and Janice talk it out. They do and sleep together, but quickly begin to fall out once Randy lets it slip that he does indeed want to change her and isn't OK with her being a criminal. Madame Masque and Crime Master break into the apartment, Janice fights them off but makes the mistake of fangirling over Masque, who knocks her out. Peter and Fred, on their way home after putting together more pieces of the tablet of life, interrupt things and get caught in the line of fire, as a huge explosion is triggered.

My thoughts

This is the first time I really got invested in Randy and Janice really, I think they make a really cute pairing despite the blood feud between their fathers, while it was a little disappointing to find Randy really did want to reform her rather than let her sort out her own life as a criminal (especially when she made it clear she wasn't trying to hurt anyone), one wonders how long Janice can keep that promise, or, better still, her friends and associates in line before she makes a more crucial mistake.

Seeing Peter interact with Randy and give him advice was cool, we don't see that side of Peter all that much as the confidante to other people's problems, and I enjoyed the 'girl's night' with Janice and company too.

I wonder what Mordo will do with Kindred? Given his ties to Doctor Strange, it could lead to more than a few more mystical menaces coming to back Mephisto when the big reckoning comes.
