He fought them before.
So why doesn't the name ring a bell?

Bad writing.

It's as if canon means nothing any longer. I've pretty much given up on anything Marvel puts out (I don't mention DC because I've never been a fan and, with the exception of a few past crossovers, never bought their titles). I'll go back to back issues and stories that truly entertain and, to a degree, uplift me where the good guy always wins and character meant something.

On a side note I'm loving One Punch Man on Netflix. It's due to leave soon but its practically all character and continuity. Check it out.

I have to say it’s not likely Peter would have forgotten them either. His experience with the Beyond Corporation last time was unforgettable although quite often events outside the actual Spider-Man titles are often ignored.

I can see why. It's anime. A lot of manga and anime are killing it these days simply because they focus on story and character, not ticking off boxes for a non-existent audience.

Thanks for sharing this. I might be checking this out.

It’s a comedy but don’t let that put you off. It skewers the problem with Superman that’s for sure.

I watched the first episode of "One-Punch Man" the other night and really enjoyed it. I've never been a fan of anime, but this was a good one. Thanks for the recommendation!

Yes absolutely I am really glad that you enjoyed it.
I have never been a big fan of Anime other than Miyazaki films and Whisper of the Heart and The Cat Returns.
I think the way One Punch Man spoofs the conventions and very reasons I don't like anime is hilarious. I also think Mumen Rider - the cyclist for justice - is hilarious in his dedication and utter ineffectiveness.

Best moment for me is Mosquito Girl calling to her mosquito hordes LOL and also Saitama's line in the finale, 'Who is this sassy lost child?' Oh and when Saitama gets bored listening to Genos's origin story in Episode 2 as well, that is comedy gold.

Just an FYI... "One-Punch Man" is streaming on Hulu.

Yeah it hasn’t been picked up up by Netflix.
Frustrating. We don’t Hulu in the UK.
