Don't know for sure, but I think Conner appeared with Cassie last when he Died in the Fifth issue of the Infinite Crisis.
Conner wasn't in Smallville that long, but the few times we did see him there, he struggled with having a secret identity as a nerd. He didn't like having to pretend from what I recall.
Not sure why he can't. In the Previews of Adventure Comics he says he DOES have all the powers to Bart at the Titans' Tower. But it's certainly possible some of his Kryptonian powers are only still developing.
Conner has half of his DNA from Superman and the other half from a human template. That Human template is now known to be Lex Luthor. He also has a few extra powers that Cadmus doctors gave him as they were trying to mimic Superman's aura.
Hope this helps.

I bought the issue only because at (comicon?) the author said that if people don't like Krypto, they shouldn't buy the comic. As I DO like Krypto a lot, and he indeed appeared on the first page or two (I haven't had time to read the whole thing yet), I bought it and will buy future issues if he or other superpets turn up, though Krypto is enough for me Oh, and if the comic's good, I may buy it for itself as Astounding Wolf-Man is ending at #25.
Krypto also turned up on the current Secret Files, but only on one page, Secret Identity (I think) "Pal", which was cute, but the art wasn't great and that's the only place he was in the issue as far as I could see, so I left that behind on the shelf. Hey, I started reading comics back in the 1950s and Krypto is fun, so... good for me, getting to see him again!
Now if Mark (Invincible) Grayson could find a superdog or supercat to help him fight terrifying villans like Conquest... see issues #62,63,64 for some really horrifying -- yet true-to-life for Super beings -- fighting... would have scarred Batman... made Superman think twice...

Personally, I liked the comic. I've added it to my regular monthly list. I don't like Cassie and I hope Conner stays girlfriend free for a while. Now Superman on Earth has me curious. So this story takes place after the whole New Krypton storyline? I hope new Krypton still exist. I'm glad Conner is staying with Ma Kent, she seems very lonely.

Personally I liked the issue for the most part. It was the primary reason I bought the issue.
It appears the writers are setting Conner up to parallel Clark's teen years (new love interest, new friend-become-lifelong-archnemesis). These two characters were NOT my favorite revelation in the story. I'd prefer Conner develop his own story not a parallel of Clark's. Looking forward to seeing the development of Conner's plans for Lex Luthor along with Tim's involvement. I suspect Lex won't find it a happy reunion.
I was glad to see the swamp creature revealed as a Supes ally Tellus. Looking forward to further development of that sidestory (Lost Legionaires).
As for the Freeze breath, he doesn't tell Bart he has ALL the powers, he says, in fact, that he doesn't have it, and Bart proceeds to suggest ways that maybe Conner could activate it.
Also, the return of Conner suggest that the Future Titans storyline will never come to fruition, even though it was suggested that Miss Martian's change was part of the original catalyst.
I wonder if their are no plans to reunite Wondergirl and Conner since they are developing an alternate love interest?

Conner is a cheap imitation of Superboy. Why doesn't DC just cough up the cash so they can use the Superboy name. Cheap, cheap!

Oh! I guess that still won't mean I see Clark as Superboy. Drat!
