Subj: So... Superman/Batman IS In-Continuity Again Yes?

I had thought DC had indicated Superman/Batman was not a part of official Canon but having just read the rather good Solomon Grundy Mini-series is ends & segues directly into the Superman/Batman title(!)

Do DC have schizophrenia with regards to this books legitimacy or do i worry too much... $\?$
