Hi everybody,

I was wondering if I might get some recommendations? I want to read a good Superman story (be that an arc, a trade, an annual) that is a complete story. I've already All-Star and the Death/Return, I have the Earth One GN. This might be impossible, I know, or this might even sound insane.

What I'm looking for is a modern Superman story that doesn't include the other DC heroes (or if so, only marginally), that features The Daily Planet, Clark, Lois, and Jimmy, and a good story with good art. I don't want to read about huge monsters, I don't want to read extensive fight scenes with Godzilla. I'd like to read a Superman story where there's a Metropolis mystery that Clark/Superman and Lois strive to uncover.

Does anybody have any suggestions? I'd really appreciate it. I want to be a Superman fan, but besides the occasional big story, like All Star, I haven't gotten into him.
