Gotta say I like death by Red Sun because

1) it keeps with the Sun/Son motif

2) Seems even more celestially significant; a cosmic act of God and destiny

I'm ok with the core exploding, but NOT when it's tied into convoluted back stories about Black Zero, cloning, or some ecological cautionary tale.

I prefer my Krypton as sort of a broad heavenly allegory; not a dystopic/inhuman/evil place.
