A classic DC artist of the 80s who did Superman, Batman, Teen Titans, and others. He died several years ago.
He flew under the radar because he did Superman near the end of pre-crisis before it got wiped out by the Byrne reboot. Along with Garcia-Lopez, he was being groomed to be the successor to Swan before DC decided to do the hard reboot.
I always thought he was an excellent artist whose style was sort of a combination of Garcia-Lopez and Jim Aparo.
He had something of a Superman renaissance in the 90s when he did 4 prestige format books: Speeding Bullets, Under a Yellow Son, Luthor Unauthorized Biography, and Nation Divided. His artwork was GREAT on these. He was even better than he was in the 80s.
Anyway, wanted to mention this back-in-the-day really talented artist who didn't get that much attention.
