In the preview for i beleive issue 5 in the course of bringin back the Asgardians, it references someone Thor may not want to bring back. Who do you guys think it is? I believe it's Odin. I can't beleive that as a character you can go back to the father/son motiff and it kind of takes away from the majesty if he's still gettign sonned by Odin.

afterall the trouble he has caused. If you bring him back you are back to square one with him causing trouble. That and I doubt the other Asgardians would tolerate him this time around.

marvel has open a new direction for thor. basically they can now "customized" who or what they want to do with thor and his supporting cast.

in a real and sensible world. you would not want to bring back the bad blood. especially someone like loki. he's not even his blood brother, and all he did was cause trouble, heartache, and death. so for thor bringing him back would be something STUPID to do, BUT...this is marvel, this is comics. JMS is going to write some reason why thor will bring him back. and loki WILL be back. he's a mainstay villain at marvel. its like doctor doom and FF. spiderman and venom/green goblin.

so there's no surprises. but you know, i want to be surprise. i want JMS to actually write something that is totally "common sense" and non-stereotypical stories that we don't expect. that would be cool...

If anything, someone else will bring Loki back, or Thor will be in a situation where he has no choice but to return everyone, good or evil; were he to just pick and choose, it would be but a handful, and probably all Aesir.

thor not God. almighty can't be judged. there are things about him and universe beyond our understanding. with thor, bring back loki and he knowingly unleash evil. he not have same authority as god. it be like if i alone set lose a known murderer who has not proven he is reformed from prison and he kills, i partly responsible. if god set that same guy lose, then he has his reasons that are just beyond my understanding. course, this all subjective based on each individual's understanding of God.
