Done by the guy who does the art for some comic called 'Noble Causes'.

Love it.

Hi Mek,

I've seen some of his stuff before, he's pretty good.
He's one of the few Turkish comic artists here.
Another Turkish artist who's work you will also find on DA is
Mahmud Asrar, who happens to be the brother of a friend of mine here
in Turkey ( small world, eh ? ) . I don't know if he's done any Bill artwork but he's pretty good too. I know he drew the recent She-Hulk annual with Peter David.

Howdy Mek mate! \:\-\)

The colours on the Beta Ray Bill art are simply cosmic.

Those are awesome. Actually better than anything I can remember from Noble Causes, to be honest. If he pumped out more stuff like this I would be a huuuuge fan!
(Sadly the series only has one issue left... :/)

By the way, Mek, I hope you like the Watchmen quote I stumbled upon in my current re-read. I stuck it in my sig - you should get a kick out of it \:\)

Ooh I'm a fan of Mahmud's! He does consistently great stuff of Dynamo 5 (Jay Faerber's OTHER team book - he must love Turkish artists!!), and that issue of She-Hulk (the "Cosmic Collisions" special, I believe it was) was sweet too.

You should get him to hook you up with Jay! He does a lot of working with new artists and since he writes his own original books, he has a lot of control over all the talent (rather than his publisher).

I've spoken to Mahmud a couple of times. We haven't met yet as he's in Ankara and I'm in Istanbul plus he's ALWAYS busy with his schedules.
We will hook up one day for sure when he comes up north. I'm hoping it will be in a few months. Then we can chat properly.

Yeah, I agree. But given that he said it was a quick brush sketch, I can make an exception. (Still, ACK!)

btw, I'm working on a picture I think you might like. Just sayin'.

That's really good for a quick brush sketch. ThunderStrike himself looks really good.

BTW Thanks for posting.

One of the reasons I don't go on Deviant is 9 times out of 10 the pages freeze up on me, like now.
Thanks Mek.
