I'd hoped Ymir's days of getting shot down by TNT arrows (and the like) were long over...

It's just a 2 page spread out of... how many pages?

There's probably more to it than it appears, but then again, this is Bendis we're talking about here. Fantasy has never been his thing or forte.

Lol, seriously...? "TNT arrows"? \:\-D

I wouldn't worry about the preview though... If you'll notice, Marvel has been doing a lot of these kind of "shock" previews lately which suggest some particular beatdown that in the actual book ends up spinning around 180 degrees on the next page.

Cheers!

Oh man, that gave me a good laugh. Wolverine against Ymir the frost giant. Hahah, what a joke.

Actually, I misremembered. Ymir was shattered by an Avengers Quinjet at ramming speed, but he reformed immediately afterwards. Hawkeye tried his arrows on Surtur, but he just ate them.

Both were still sad in comparison to later depictions of them.

We'll see.

If Ymir is actually portrayed as the world-class threat he should be that justifies why it is a big deal the sons of Bor took him down then it will be a good comic. If this attack seriously hurts Ymir then it will be a sad day.

I agree. This only validates the popularity of Wolverine. These days the only one that can stop him is a War World Hulk.

Hey, just be happy he's not a Thor foe... ;\-\)
