I've heard bits and pieces about what Dan Jurgens was going to do with Thor, notably an arc focused on redemption after he stops himself from becoming a tyrant in the future, and am sad that he didn't get to do that. I'd like to know more about what his plans were. Anyone know much?

What? Increase sales by putting Oeming on the title? Yeah. Would have been much better to keep Thor running as a What If story where the writer just kept making it up as he went as opposed to having an actual story structure in place?

The run read like madlibs from someone with no grasp of Thor's canon or continuity and no respect for the creators that came before. I dropped it after the fiftieth Trinket of Adjective Noun. Fine if you're playing Diablo II. Not so much in a comic.

I miraculously resisted the urge to flip out with your old sig, Meta Ray.

Please don't use the H word again.

Awww man. I was hoping you'd have said something! But hey, at least it's just as useless as the power of 'Heart'. ;]

They put Oeming on the title to kill it with Ragnarok, and Thor didn't appear at ALL for a long time, so that doesn't exactly sound like an improvement to me. And at least the What If story got resolved with the dystopia averted, whereas once Disassembled hit (along with Decimation, Civil War, Dark Reign, etc.) things got much more dystopic and have yet to be fixed in the mainstream 616 Marvel Universe.
