I was wondering, would you guys mind if I did the scripting for the Thor/Hulk pages you've been doing? I'm a far better writer than colourist, and I'd love to do the scripting and add the word balloons/captions.

Yeah, taking what you penciled in as dialogue and cleaning it up a bit, as well as putting it in word balloons, captions, etc. I'll kind of script as we go but won't be able to finish it off until it's coloured (is Mek going to do the colouring?), but I'll keep a working script going until I've seen all of the panels.

This is turning out to be a pretty cool project!

I'll see when I can find the time to color the pages, but it'd be sweet if it was a big group effort. \=\]

I coloured one of the pages Vartha inked, but I'm really not very good at colouring; I'm far stronger with words than actual images.

By group effort, do you mean if a bunch of us split up the colouring duties, or do you mean how this already is a group effort (Re-Man's pencils and plot, Vartha's inks, your colours, etc0?

The first two pages that you posted, where in the story do they fit? I'm referring to the "model study" sheet you posted featuring a full page of Thor/Hulk battling, and the "conclusion" page where Thor stands over a beaten Hulk; the next page you posted after the "conclusion" page could be taken as Hulk getting up from that lightning bolt, so that's why I'm unsure.

the first one i did, with the collage of fighting, was just showing how thor would fight the hulk, and the the "conclusion" was just me ending it, but...of course i got excited and i kept going with it!

so yes, i guess the first 2 drawings are actually the first 2 pages. ;\)

it'll be nice to see all of you jumping in and making this a group effort!

hopefully i'll find some extra time soon and continue to finish the book! i have it all plotted out, but getting time to draw is hard. hahahah...i got lucky with the first 8 pages. i had some downtime and just jumped in full-tilt!

have fun all!

...how would you feel if we did the first page (the model sheet) as a "Previously" page, using captions to explain what is happening and how the two have gotten to the point where Thor is laying Hulk out with a lightning bolt? We could then use the Conclusion page you posted as the opening splash page of the book (though the dialogue would need to be adjusted, which is no problem).

If I'm getting too into this please let me know. \:\) I just want to help put out the best story possible to go with the gorgeous artwork!

Anyone else find it ironic how this book is evolving using the old Marvel method Stan and Jack used to use; Jack would plot and do the pencils, then Stan would add the script. Just like what is happening here!

...as "1 and 2." the thor model study and the conclusion.

then when i got jacked up and wanted to do more, i started drawing the sequential pages 1 - 6. so if you add up the previous ones with these pages, it'll be 8 altogether.

Hi Vartha

I'm finding it both interesting and instructive - seeing it all come together.

Cheers
