Although... asking Ares to formulate a battle plan? I don't know much about Marvel Ares, but mythological Ares wasn't a god of strategy and battle plans. He was more of a savage, dirty fighter. Strategy was Athena's schtick. 5. I don't like Frank Cho's art...

I thnk he's doing them well, showing everyone's doubts.

Yup. I kind of think this was part of Carol's point though--showing Ares really isn't capable of doing better.
