Yeah i think having Spiderman(likes) or Ironman(likes) would end up being too much of a what if or a squadron supreme...I take what is said if the STORY was what mattered but it was not, the story was not that strong what was strong was the fact that the marvel universe and the very heros were undergoing changes...
The weak part was the story was cobbled together to make those changes (it seemed) And characters forced to be things they were not..
If you made an ironman analogy fight a cap analogy..well who cares at the end of the day if the final product was a story which made little sense....who cares....
The entire thing was to get tension in the marvel universe and reset a few things that were becoming humdrum....i did that well....but the story suffered...
So yeah alan more would have done civil war differently even with ironman and cap as they are....
But millar is more the...set piece guy....the twist in the tale guy the money shot man, but he isnt really about...well the details...
So i like him for that and also realise his limitations...he is a pop corn fest of ...lets leave plot out of this and WOW look at those explosions and did you SEE that scene!! it was kick ass!!
