Well... as they are wont to do, MARVEL has decided to recycle one of their property names once again.
Where once the team name; THE ORDER was used for the spin-off comic featuring the "big 4" DEFENDERS (when they decided to take the battle directly to the Earth - after 12 issues of their being messed around with via YANDROTH's "curse")...
NOW it is being used as the team name for the INITIANTIVE title that WAS to have been: THE CHAMPIONS.
Sadly, MARVEL never properly trademarked that name, and now they no longer own the rights to it, so the new "CHAMPIONS" title was in search of a new name.
Instead of doing something fairly cool like calling the team "THE CHAMPIONS OF Los Angeles" (which is really what the old team's name was), or something in line with their recent publishing antics, like: "THE NEW CHAMPIONS",
Marvel has decided to use "THE ORDER".
It will, of course, have NOTHING to do with the old "ORDER" series. No DOCTOR STRANGE, HULK, NAMOR or SILVER SURFER in this title.
The ODD thing, however, is that MARVEL had used the "ORDER" title for that DEFENDERS book only because the original name they wanted to use; "THE OVERLORDS" was owned by another publisher at the time.
So, it's an almost fitting turn of events.

Whether they are called the Champions or the Order ...... not getting the series. Does not look interesting enough.
