*spoilers and speculation!*

Scarlet Witch = Skrull?

Think about it, she started behaving rather oddly right after Kurt left and Geoff took over, particularly the Red Zone arc. Then she "goes crazy" after finding out about the kids she already knew she had, breaks up the Avengers, goes off with Magneto, does the whole HoM thing, then Clint finds her in Transia without her memory.

Sounds very Skrully. And pretty much the only way to get good old Wanda back, because it wasn't her.

Of course, if the Skrulls were able to alter reality, theres not much the Avengers can do to stop them! That whole wiping out of the mutants does make invasion alot easier...

DH the Lurker
(disturbed at the thought of tossing Skrulls into that whole Xorneto mess)

My view is that Magneto tricked his way into the Xmen in the Xorn suit. His powers were weak at the time and he turned to drugs to boost them. The result was he went just mental enough to take over New York. Once the drugs were out of his system he was back to being a driven terrorist with a need to build a master race, but otherwise not a bad bloke.

There was never a need to create a second Xorn who was the brother of the one that did not exist, to blame Exodus for the whole thing, to have Sentry throw the mind of Xorn into the sun, and so on and so forth. I'd be happy if all Xorn activity since Magneto stopped being Xorn could be blamed on the Skrulls, and further that any appearance of Magneto which remains a problem could also be blamed on the skrulls.
