MA - everyone needs to be registered. The government must solve our problems and approve of/train heroes. Democrat

NA - We are capable of handling things ourselves. We want to help people by ourselves and not through government intervention. We want to be able to defend ourselves. Republican.

Just look at how the basic party philosophies on the 2nd ammendment, taxes, and charitable giving.
