While I've said before that Marvel would be inviting a repeat of the "You've been reading about a clone for 20 years" Ben Reilly Debacle if they revealed the star of a solo book had been a Skrull long-term, and even a short-term Skrull-replacement of a major character would be a bad move that could potentially invalidate massive chunks of Civil War.

But on the other hand, to convince us that Secret Invasion _IS_ A Big Deal, they probably do have to have some Big Skrull Reveals, and the key rule to predicting stuff like this for modern comics Events is "Who's the biggest name they can afford to lose". In terms of solo books, Ms Marvel and She-Hulk are probably the only ones who they can easily afford to reveal as being Skrulls for, well, any length of time, and not have to worry about outraged fans too much. And of those two, Ms Marvel is the one that would actually have impact on the Avengers right here and now.

I don't _THINK_ they'll do this, and are just teasing it to try and draw attention to the book, but if they WERE going to feed someone's solo book to the Skrulls, she's the best option for them. And check out her sudden change of opinions on superhuman registration, post-Civil War, and tell me that wouldn't fit for a great "now it's a Skrull" switch?
