Previous Post Like the art, fine with the much hated writing, (Thor looks and is showing great and Valkyrie is sexy as hell so I'm happy) BUUUUT........ why does it seem like both issues are very short and the fights extremely abbreviated? It felt like every plot point got one page and no more. I have to say the final issue of Ultimate Power felt this way too. Is it something about how Loeb writes? I can't put my finger on it.

Because every other page was a two page splash of nothing.

This issue so full of nothing it wasn't worth the money and paper it was printed on and Mad's art is not as good as it once was. I think it is all the fancy coloring. It really clashing with his art style.

Also the Spidey, Thor's speech, Hank's overdose, and Wasp's eating disorder bits were awful and just dramatic for drama's sake and unlike what Miller did with Ultimates this feels like fanfiction.
