Previous Post 1. Spider-Man's part was completely pointless and added NOTHING to the plot. He was pretty much the only character written not horribly. 2. Hawkeye's way of trying to team up and get info from Spider-Man by shooting him with a paralytic and anesthetic needle? Yeah that would make me want to help out the Ultimates too. 3. Cap leaving a paralyzed 15-16 year old (though according to TWO YEARS LATER, Pete would be 17-18 now, though this isn't completelty Loeb's fault and owes a lot to the Millar/Hitch delays) in the middle of the streets certainly seems out of character too. 4. ZERO progress in who Black Panther is, even though they make a huge deal out of it on the recap page. 5. I'm calling it now: Valkyerie gets her powers by having sex with Thor.

Yeah, especially since they've met before and had a conversation. Hawkeye could have just asked Fury for his number. Oh, and remember when Spiderman had a spider sense and could dodge bullets?

I'm not sure about the age thing. Pete hasn't really aged at all and each version of the Ultimates is about a year after the previous. He could be older in this story though. We can't say for sure that it is supposed to run at the same time as Ult. Spiderman.
