It was Stark's bright idea to clone Thor. That is how Gyrich made it so much worse by creating an army. The current version is only slightly better. Stark intended to clone Thor all along. Keep you Iron Man bliss if you want and ignore the truth.

We have 3 possibilities.

2 Have clones.

1) Tony is dead...clones kill everyone...all the heroes end up dying because they resist registration.

2) Steve is dead...clone kills Bill Foster...sad day..registration wins, things are not perfect but most people survive.

3) Tony and Steve both alive...utopia.

2) and 3) Can't happen without Stark there. Hate all you like...thems the facts jack.
