No, not really, but that title should at least have outraged someone, somewhere. > Who are your favourite female avengers? For some reason, all the ones I'd have considered "favourites" get crapped on horribly. - Crystal's been turned into a cartoonishly-promiscuous joke - Julia Carpenter lost her powers and her codename, and when she got her powers back, she got thrashed by Ms Marvel, sent to prison and then to Omega Flight - Even before any of you ever heard of Bendis, the Scarlet Witch had been Ruined Forever by literally reversing all prior characterisation to turn her into a T&A character for the hairy-palmed brigade, so much so that it's pretty much all she is now. - I even liked Masque, who got all the hints at her identity ignored, so she could be 'revealed' as a clone and casually killed. Meanwhile, the books focus on the ones I actively dislike. Yay. Who's left that I actually like as a character? There's Black Widow, I guess, and Sersi when she's not crazygonuts. Firestar and She-Hulk are characters I've always preferred in other books to how they've been used/written/handled in the Avengers. > Also what other women do you think would be good in the team. Thanks For the New Avengers team that are the remnants of Cap's 'Secret Avengers', Diamondback really should have been there. Or the Julia Carpenter Spider-Woman, had she not been sent to Omega Flight. For The Tony's team, I'm utterly blanking on who else to add. Especially as the lineup was already packed with women that seem to have been handpicked so Cho could draw massive T&A. | |||||||
