> I dont get why Ares is an Avenger? He is a thug, a Godly Punisher if you will. I remember reading awhile back when they brought him into the Avengers that he has a son he is protecting. I think that was covered in his mini-series. They never revealed who the mother of the kid was did they? I thought it was even implied that it could be one of the woman in the Avengers. I at the least dont like the current way he is being utilized. This is definetly not like the earlier New Avengers led by Cap!

In Mighty Avengers #1, Iron Man and Ms. Marvel are putting the team together and they say they need a "wolverine"-type and a "thor"-type. Ms. Marvel says she can kill 2 birds with 1 stone. That's how they get Ares.

-bigtime out.

and how does Carol Danvers know where Ares is, right down to his construction worker job? Could it be that the real way she escaped Limbo (before Rogue attacked her) was Ares offered a trade, her freedom for her being his brood mare?
