Tigra's always worn a bikini, including in the 1970's Marvel Chillers comics. I never had a problem with her costume, but with the way that writers treated her from the 1980's up to today with some writers. Since she's such a visual character, it makes sense her costume shows her fur. Though I must admit, many years ago, I designed a 1-piece costume for her.

...a one-piece would be the way to go (it's what Shulkie, Ms. M, Wanda, etc. wear after all) because it's less revealing, offers more protection, is more appropriate (relativley) while still showcasing her unique visual characteristics: Orange stripped fur!
