IMO, the only X-Men who won't seem out of place in the Avengers other than Beast is Dazzler, because she had her own book way back in the day where she fought the Absorbing Man and Enchantress, Avengers type villains. And she teamed up with Avengers, like She Hulk and Spiderwoman. That sort of thing. She's underused in the X-Men anyway.

Storm is logical as she is married to the Black Panther, but the problem with her is that she's just so very central to the X-Men. She's too much of an X-icon.
