These days I dont know but in the past Lockjaw was presented as a dog with the Inhuman trait.I cant remember if he ever had an actual origin story but he was definitly treated as a pet-albeit one with exceptional intelligence and powers.

an Inhuman trapped or born as a big dog. Family, gaurdian and stuck in a body not his choosing
