    Quote:
Imagine you were launching Avengers Academy #1. Who would you use?

Idea 1: Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne mentor the Young Avengers. The YA get their much needed mentors in a monthly book, and it gives Hank and Janet a purpose again. While they are never going to be on the level of the big three, they are still very important to the Avengers.

Roster: Giant Man, Wasp, Patriot, Hulkling, Wiccan, Kate Bishop, Speed, Stature, Vision

Idea 2: Merge the concepts of the Initiative and the current Avengers Academy idea. The title would consist of three group of characters by having veteran Avengers as teachers, less experienced and younger Avengers as student teachers, and the inexperienced younger students. But like the Initiative, it would consist of many more characters. Each student teacher would be assigned a certain group of students as well, where they would take the team out on superhero adventures. Great way to include many superhero characters that would otherwise just stay in limbo.

    Quote:
    My suggestion would be:
Hawkeye and Mockingbird as the instructors.
    Speedball as a student.
Aegis (sort of dead, but still).
    Mattie Franklin (again).
    Lacuna.
    Smuggler.
Amadeus Cho as the new Yellowjacket.
    Gorilla Girl.
    Trauma.

Hawkeye and Mockingbird don't seem to really fit as being mentors for younger children. I still like them better as Thunderbolts leaders.
