Just a bit more ironic, and snarky than usual. But that's just the way Bendis writes characters. ( except Thor for some reason...hmm..)

I kind of like the nonchalance myself, he's completely certain that he's cannot in any way lose.

I'd go so far as to say literally every sentence is out of character. Here's the run down...

First two Lines: Thanos is not glib. In fact he's generally humorless to the point that Starlin mocked his lack of humor at the end of Infinity War)

The Thor Exchange: "Love the Earth"? You can either interrupt that as sincere (unlikely given it's the world that's defeated him so many times) or sarcasm which is not in-character for Thanos.

Last Line: "I will start this world from scratch" Really? Thanos, lover of death, is going to start a world from scratch?

This all comes back to Bendis' dialogue. It's crisp but he writes every character in his own voice. Which means every character has his version of wit. Just to give my favorite example look back at Seige #2. Taskmaster says this to Captain America...

"I won't lie to you Captain America, I've been looking forward to a rematch for a long time"

Then Cap replies...

"Really? I barely remember you"

I'm sorry but that's out of character on so many levels. Cap DOES remember Taskmaster (Cap is the guy who is constantly studying Avengers enemy files). Which means Cap was taunting him and that's just not who Cap is. Cap's the good Cop. He's the one who shows respect to even the villains. He's straight laced.

But again Bendis is sarcastic so all his characters are as well.

the dialogue in this book is awful all over. just off the top of my head, thor is a moron, shakespearean weirdo again. he's done nothing but job in this book and judging by the previews, that's all he'll be doing.

for some reason hulk is savage without any explanation.

thanos calling himself "warrior of death" just sounded stupid.

apparently there are multiple ultimate nullifiers now, too.
