First two Lines: Thanos is not glib. In fact he's generally humorless to the point that Starlin mocked his lack of humor at the end of Infinity War)

Thanos has been glib quite often in the past. It's one of the best aspects of his character that Starlin gave him.

The Thor Exchange: "Love the Earth"? You can either interrupt that as sincere (unlikely given it's the world that's defeated him so many times) or sarcasm which is not in-character for Thanos.

Both are in character for Thanos.

Last Line: "I will start this world from scratch" Really? Thanos, lover of death, is going to start a world from scratch?

Wouldn't be the first time. Thanos up to his old tricks.
