Quote: Thanos has been glib quite often in the past. It's one of the best aspects of his character that Starlin gave him. Can you name even one of those times? Because I just went through Infinity Gauntlet, War and Crusade on my iPad and I didn't see a single example of that. In fact, as I stated above, Starlin made a point of highlighting Thanos' humorless nature at the end of Infinity War (when he snaps Pip's cigar in two). Thanos has always been cold and analytical. He's tended to eschew any sentimentality whatsoever as in the Marvel Christmas Special in the 90s when he tosses Gamora's doll. That's his character. Quote: Quote: Last Line: "I will start this world from scratch" Really? Thanos, lover of death, is going to start a world from scratch?Really? Thanos has, as a villain, tried to do the following things... Destroy the Universe Destroy the Universe Kill half the Universe Help Annihilus Destroy the Universe Help Death Destroy an Alternate Universe So No, creating a new world isn't Thanos "up to his old tricks". | |||||||
