Avengers Vs X-Men #7

Horrible story telling and Event progression. Sorry, felt all flash and no substance. Warning: offhand character comments reflect this....

Cap - too much on his plate makes for too many bad calls.
Stark - is a pathetically, ignobly genius. He gives a cringeworthy showing of himself.
Thor - impotent window dressing.
Hawkeye - likes being struck down on same day Vizh falls. (Don't worry about him 'dying' though the PF can't cure cancer but they'll fix him up fine for his new series.)
Spidey - meh.
Widow - meh.
Vizh - NOOO101! (See what he did there with the clever binary 'death'? Hope so 'cuz he had nothing else to show beside a burn on Wanda.)
Valkyris - FEARLESS! Seriously. But only because she was devoid of ALL characterization.
Dr.Strange - Charlatan Supreme. (That's all he's got?)
Spider-woman = was she even there (not even to shed a tear over her boyfriend)?
Rulk - too good to show up for the pep talk.
Cage -meh.
Mock - was she there?
DD - The man without purpose.
Thing - well, at least he hones his swimming skill.
Pym - meh.
Iron Fist - Those who can do. Those who can't teach. To his credit he ain't jealous of Hope for stealing his Thunderer. Kung Fu is sooo useful when a threat is too big for one hero... thank goodness Shang Chi will double the Avengers power there.
T'Challa - B*tch slappin', magic pimpin', second fiddle. (Hated how he handled himself too.)
Wolverine - The best there is at standing akimbo for one panel.
Beast - meh. (The Twisted Visions Lake Guardian had a better hair day!)
Pietro - meh.
Wanda - Think of the possibilities. Imagine the probabilities. 'Cuz you'll have to with no character advancement or exposition worth noting.
Sam - meh.
Jen - meh.
Sharon - 'Cuz that's who you want in your roll call for End of Days. (Since Silver Sable probably called in 'dead'.)
Hope - Oooh, you "flinched", well don't worry about it. Unfootnoted appearance right before NA27 http://www.comicboards.com/php/show.php?rpy=avengers-2012062119514139 where the Messiah find continues to fail the MU.
Lei Kung - Master of Babbling Mystic Jargon.
Shuri - Good for her getting chronological credit... uhh... was she there?

X-men - artist's favorites get facetime.

Phoenix Five - their true colors start to shine thru and it's not a pretty sight. You can blame the dominating PF influence if you want to. Or poor you can blame a horrible planning and execution (both fact and fiction). Only a couple drawn issue images and Cyke reveals worked okay.

I actually highly enjoyed it.
