Captain Marvel should have not only survived that blast, but gotten more powerful from it.

Thor doesn't get taken down by an enlarged Mjolnir. He just grabs it and pounds the ever-loving crap out of the person who enlarged it.

And just to be consistent, Wolverine should have regrown and kicked DP's backside.

Basically, this whole series is just one case of plot induced stupidity after the other.
