I don't want to hate on Bendis because he did do some great stuff in New avengers vol. 1 , Mighty Avengers, and I loved Dark Avengers atleast at t
    he begining.
But he should have walked away from all things Avengers after Siege.
It just seems like he straight up ran out of gas at that point.

Follow me here because I'm totally right. If you look at Bendis' career all his quality work has been with things he created.

Examples: Powers, Alias, Ultimate Spider-Man

But whenever he tries to take over an established title it ends up sucking.

Examples: Sam and Twitch, Moon Knight, and I'd argue Daredevil (though for some this would count as the one exception)

To me this explains Bendis' entire run. The first New Avengers and Dark Avengers were good because they were essentially Bendis created concepts. Disassembled and the current Avengers title sucked because he was trying to write a real Busiek type Avengers team.

I don't see where you're coming from on Mighty Avengers. Both the Ultron story line and the Symbiote story line came across as pretty lame to me and those were the only two stores before Secret Invasion and Slott's takeover.

Totally fair on Mighty Avengers.
I guess I was so very taken by Frank Cho's art and various artist that I was just being nostalgic.
