Gilgamesh. I have always been of the belief that Gilgamesh never worked out as an Avenger because not one single Avenger made an attempt to befriend him. But why did he join the Avengers? He didn't join the Avengers to fight monsters...he was doing that for centuries anyways. He was lonely and he wanted to join a fellowship of like minded people. He wanted friends.
