When Wanda and Pietro, along with Cap and Hawkeye, took over being the Avengers.

That was reprinted in the first Marvel Holiday Grab-Bag Treasury Edition. Classic line from Ivan, in response to Natasha asking if he knew what to do: "Since Stalingrad, sweetheart, when you were knee-high to a tarantula."

We also learn that he learned English by watching old Bogart films.
