Suffice to say there's an amateur webcomics artist with a lot of serious personal problems and a history of creepy, offensive personal behavior who uses his diagnosis as a flimsy excuse for all of the above.

There's a sort of cottage industry at certain image boards devoted to manipulating him into worse and more embarrassing behavior as well, creating a kind of circle of exponentially increasing Internet awfulness all around. In fact, the comic is far less "famous" than its artist and the artist's antagonists. Frankly, if you're not going looking for it or are not overly familiar with years-old Internet culture, you'll never even see the person's name.

Leaving that behind, which we *should definitely do*, I'm somewhat surprised that there isn't a creator at one of the Big Two who is openly on the spectrum. Simply going by population statistics, surely there are some people on the spectrum working at one or both companies.
