Unless they're going to continue having Sue be his surrogate mommy or getting in immature fights with Ben, he really doesn't have much use.

I agree that Johnny is pretty much a waste of space and has been for a long, long time. Writers and editors seemed to have given up any attempt to make him grow up and I desperately miss those good ole' days when John Byrne actually matured him somewhat. Even Mark Waid's run suffered because Johnny seemed more immature than ever.
