Quote:• Was that a viscerally satisfying fate for Arcade?
I thought so. Hazmat was the one with the strongest motive to do the deed, plus she repeated the dialog from the scene where he killed Mettle. And everybody got in a good shot before that.
Quote:Waaas that Arcade?
I'm thinking no. Even if it is intended to be him, some later writer will bring the character back.
Quote:• Was that good and colorful artwork, or what?!
Quote:• Was Hazmat's phsycho' condition and recovery a bit too convenient or unbelievable?
I thought her catatonia was fine. Maybe I would have preferred a more gradual snap-back. Just a panel or two where we see her coming out of it prior to her exploding.
Quote:• Was any of the AU-kids really any more impressive or entertaining than the others?
I think he generally does the best job with the characters he created plus Cammi.
Quote:• Was Zemo's master (game?)plan easy to guess at?
Yes. Of course that's what he'd be doing. He's always trying to get people under his influence.
Quote:• Was Madame Masque, Constrictor, and Son of Satan bad enough for ya?
I don't have a good handle on what Son of Satan's characterization is supposed to be now. He worked with the Avengers during the Bendis era and was later on the Defenders when Nighthawk reformed them.
He suddenly has a daughter we didn't know about, Demona. Did they reveal who her mother was?
Quote:Was the significance of the Avengers Undercover series title that Marvel wants people to buy still completely unclear?
I myself would like for it to turn out that Constrictor is working undercover for the Avengers. And maybe some of the kids could start reporting back to them. But then, Hazmat was the only one with a strong Avengers connection, and she just killed Arcade.
