Well I certainly didn't predict that it would be the father of a student who was trying to blackmail her.

I don't feel like they've ruined Vision at all. Instead, it is an exploration of his machine nature versus his human nature. I found the look at how his duties as a hero/Avenger are at odds with his being a father to be very interesting. In fact, I can't think of a better exploration of that sort of topic. Luke and Jessica dealt with it a bit but not in this way.

In what way do you feel Vision has been ruined?

Personally I don't understand his reasoning at all.

We've seen Vision ruined so many ways over the years and for some reason he thinks THIS is the story that ruins him. I don't get it.
