Can I just step aside for a minute and put a little perspective on the current status of the Marvel Universe? We have (for the 100th time) the organization created to protect the world from evil, Shield, yet again acting like the bad guys and the main bad guy potentially behind it (the Red Skull) isn't even the original but a clone and to top it all off he has the brain of Charles Xavier grafted to his head.

How dumb are we, myself included, for buying this trash? If i had described this story line to anyone on this board 10 years ago you would have told me what complete garbage it was. Yet here we are, so disparate for something good to read trying to make sense of this silliness. And this not meant to be an attack on anyone here, I am just as guilty. It's just disappointing that this is what Marvel has devolved to.
