I found the General to be too OTT and unnecessary, just for exposition. The New Avengers actually got some character moments.

6 ='d Doreen, Teddy, Billy, POD, Ava, Vic.

Thought you meant 6='d the 6 involved with the giant robot.
I really wouldn't mind Doreen, Teddy, and Billy being dumped off the planet.

[ Cannonball ] His blast field protects his body from major damage. Why wouldn't it shield him from T-Mist like probably any other force field?

Sorta disagree. If they want to make his field resistant - that's fine. But he isn't shielding/flying non-stop when in vicinity of T-Mist most likely. And also, many mutants ARE "on" 24/7 and no reports of guaranteed immunities yet AFAIK('cept maybe the Healers that were killed in UXM). So this is why this read cornball bragging to me. Hmmm, wonder if this new base dome in Savage Land will be stated as T-Mist proof?

He wasn't claiming to always be resistant, just when he's "blastin'."

      When and why what?

When did Sam get here (although typing previous answer about T-Mist makes me think it's very recently)! What the heck is Cornonball's ;\) motivation and backstory to lead readers to believe Berto was his first contact choice?

Sam got here now. I don't even get why anyone would be asking the questions.

"First?" A better question would be why hasn't he been part of Berto's group since before the 8 month gap, and the two are best buds going back decades. I think Sam would need motivation to not be involved.

City of Heroes is BACK!
