Huh, what's the thing about Captain America in Facebook (here in germany), everbody is discussing? The picture, where Cap says "Hail Hydra" Where is this from? Come on, Cap isn't with Hydra, or is he?

It is the last panel from the new Steve Rogers: Captain America comic.

The issue includes a flashback to Steve's childhood where he and his mom are invited to attend a Hydra rally - the implication being that he has been with Hydra all along (of course, the issue never shows whether or not he actually attends the rally).

My guess it that time travel/cosmic cube shenanigans are afoot... and that before too long everything will be reset. I'm certainly willing to let the storyline play out and see what happens, especially since I enjoy Nick Spencer's work.

The issue has been very controversial, with some people making accusations of antisemitism etc. While I can understand the surprise I'm keeping in mind the fact that it was a last panel reveal cliffhanger and I'm sure an explanation will be forthcoming in future issues.
