Although she didn't do much it did make sense to have Spectrum there.

In fact, the entire fight seemed to hinge on the fact that Medusa made an error. I agree that Captain Marvel did the best she could in the amount of time she was given. She fielded a team that was able to take down Thanos.

Let's face it - there was going to be a sensational death in this story. It had to be a character who doesn't have their own title.

I doubt that Jen is dead since upcoming stories indicate that Banner will be appearing - I'm assuming he'll be there to help care for Jen.
